I thought seriously about letting 2011 fade to black without my noting it or casting even a sideways glance its way.
Believe it or not, I do remember it.
Thank you, B, for today’s frivolous prompt;
Describe 5 guilty pleasures.
I skidded from one prompt to the next for today’s #Reverb11. I landed on one and then would move to another like a deranged butterfly flitting from one bloom to the next.
I finally settled on this one I found on Colleen’s website.
How did you become more of a grown-up this year? Or did you pull a Peter Pan and stubbornly remain childlike?
Today’s #Reverb11 Prompt comes from the lovely ladies behind #Weverb11. They ask:
What lesson did you learn in 2011 from “The School of Life” rather than a classroom?
Stereo. 20-something aspiring bon vivant. London based. Exceptionally Nigerian. Partial to snark. My default setting is "wry". Jeans and blazers are my uniform. Landlady. Speed reader, tuneless singer, hoarder of words, drinker of Schloer; I am suspicious of most people, have zero tolerance for tomfoolery, have a vast DVD collection, worship at the altar of Al Green, own too many bottles of nail polish, have small eyes, small ears and giant hair and owe approximately 86% of my awesome to the Parents Typewriter.
